September 1st marks the beginning of my Autumn Wardrobe and my 3 month no shopping ban. I’m very excited for a new season, even if that means the old weather is creeping back in.

I’ve tried to pick enough layerable pieces in this capsule so that it will see me through the slightly warmer early-autumn and well into chilly November. I have included one t-shirt among the 33 items, which I may allow myself to swap out for another long sleeve polo-neck when it starts to get properly cold out.

The ‘rules’ of my #Project333 are:

  • no buying any clothes, shoes or accessories
  • not even buying secondhand
  • only wearing 33 items for 3 months (but am allowing myself to swap out up to 4 items over the 3 months, to allow for weather changes)
  • I am allowed to wear my occasion-wear pieces if such an occasion arises (but not for everyday)

You can check out the 33 items in action in my latest video, below:

Here’s a quick overview of what I chose to include, and some possible outfit combinations (more on that at a later date) >>>>>

I recently discovered your YouTube channel and I love your content and style! I try to embrace slow fashion and you are a great example for this!

Do you list some of the items you picked somewhere ? I really love your crossbody handbag with canvas and red strap. Can you tell me which brand this is please ?

I also love your leather pants. I have been on the hunt for this for months and I tried thrifting a pair of straight leg but I haven’t found one yet.

    Thank you and kind regards,

Thank you so much. I have a few of my pieces linked in my carousel ‘whats in my wardrobe’ section, but I have not updated it with the handbag. It is by DKNY but is now out of stock on The Outnet. Perhaps you might find it second hand, or on a difference site. The leather pants are by mango, purchased in january. They are much more comfortable in a straight fit style. I did see a few similar pairs on the highstreet when searching for these but I struggled to find them second hand, hence why i bought from Mango. It’s much easier to find a skinny pair second hand but i knew I wouldn’t wear those as much. xx

Thank you so much Gemma! I will try second hand for sure as I shop second hand most of the time! I bought a DKNY vintage baguette like new a couple of months ago on a vintage shop online. I find that vintage stuff so much more quality than what we buy now… I bought a vintage Pendleton wool plaid blazer on Etsy two years ago. It was deadstock. Even though it was a 70’s blazer, it looked brand new. The tag was still attached to it. And that’s the blazer that brings the most compliments every time I wear it. It makes me happy to find such treasures and be able to have unique pieces for just a few dollars in my wardrobe.

I really enjoy your videos! You have great style and amazing content. You will get more and more followers.

Thank you and see you in your next video! 🙂

Thank you so much, that’s so kind. Yes, it’s such a pleasure getting compliments on second hand items that are such great finds but cost so little.xx

I totally agree for skinny leather pants! I have a pair of faux leather skinny pants and I don’t wear them much. Maybe I will wear them this Fall and Winter with my combat style boots for a change, until I find the perfect pair. I remember seing the straight leg leather pants at Mango. I will keep looking!

    Thank you Gemma! xx

They will definitely be getting popular again this season, going into fall/autumn. And hopefully as others are pulling back out their winter clothes there might be more styles going up on second hand marketplaces too 🙂 xx
